Project Overview

YUR Official is a premium fashion brand specializing in linen clothing and handcrafted leather products. I developed the Shopify store entirely from scratch, creating a shopping experience that reflects the brand’s minimal, premium identity while ensuring high performance and ease of management.

My Role

I independently handled the complete Shopify development process—from selecting the initial premium theme to extensively rebuilding its structure and functionality through custom development. Every aspect of the store was tailored to meet the client’s evolving requirements and deliver a unique brand experience.

What I Delivered

Built the complete Shopify store from scratch.
Extensively customized the premium theme at the code level using Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Reworked layouts, sections, and styling to precisely match the approved design and brand identity.
Developed custom Shopify sections and reusable components for easy content management.
Customized product, collection, cart, and navigation experiences.
Integrated payment gateway, Shiprocket, email marketing, WhatsApp marketing, RMS, Meta Pixel, and other third-party services.
Implemented responsive design with a strong focus on mobile usability and performance.
Refined every UI element, including icons, spacing, animations, and interactions, to create a polished premium experience.

Key Challenge

During development, the project requirements evolved significantly, requiring the original premium theme’s layouts and structure to be extensively rebuilt. Instead of relying on theme defaults, I re-engineered large portions of the codebase to deliver the exact design, functionality, and user experience envisioned by the client while maintaining a clean, scalable Shopify architecture.

Outcome

Despite the extensive customizations, the backend remains easy for the client to manage, allowing products, content, and promotions to be updated without technical assistance.
